This article by Janet Camarena in the May, 2000 issue of Computers in Libraries is a great overview of searching for library funding, and includes a list of the top library-funding foundations in 1998.

Staff Advisory Council Education Award Application (This Program is intended principally to assist in personal and professional development through providing funding for classes/courses at local institutes of higher education.
Grants Task Force Charge
- The Grants Task Force made recommendations to the Director of Libraries on the implementation of an effective program of grants-management for the MU Libraries. The Task Force will completed its work on May 10, 2006.
- In carrying out its charge, the Task Force explored ways to build, foster and sustain a culture of grant writing within the Libraries, defined the components of a successful grants program, and proposed a transparent and straightforward process for grant preparation and review. The Task Force will also collect information on grant opportunities and compiled information about successful grant applications by MU Libraries staff.
