• Employees of the MU Libraries with the titles of Library Information Assistant or Library Information Specialist I or II are eligible for advancement within the classification by demonstrating competency in prescribed categories (Job Skills, Problem Solving & Analysis, and Working within the Library Organization). Such employees will be evaluated for competency level at the time of hire, and those who subsequently demonstrate higher-than-minimum proficiency levels will be eligible for a higher overall proficiency level.
