Reserves - Information for Students

Electronic Reserves (ERes)
Search ERes
  • To access electronic reserves (ERes) off-campus, you will need your pawprint.
    • Your instructor may provide you with a password for access to the Course Reserves page. Be sure you have this information before you proceed.
  • Many documents are in Adobe Acrobat format and require theAdobe Acrobat Reader. Should you need to download the software, it may be obtained for free at http://www.adobe.com/

  • Go to the ERes home page: eres.missouri.edu
  • Choose Electronic Reserves and Reserves Pages.
  • Choose your course either by scrolling down and selecting the appropriate Department or Instructor's Name in the pull down menus, or by entering information into other search fields.
  • At the prompt at the course page, enter the password if required
  • Choose your course either by scrolling down and selecting the appropriate Department or Instructor's Name in the pull down menus.
  • If prompted at the course page, enter the password from your instructor.
  • Once you are inside the page, you can access documents by clicking on them.  Some documents also have passwords.  If necessary, get them from your instructor as well.
Print Reserves
  • Each library has a Reserves section.
  • Reserves in Ellis Library are located next to the Circulation Desk at the north entrance.
  • You need your ID to check out materials. The usual checkout period is two hours.
  • To learn what is on Reserve, search the Merlin Catalog reserves section by instructor or course name.
  • In Ellis Library and in the Engineering Library, laptops with wireless capabilities can be checked out for 2 hours.
